Amazingly over the past week, there is research that says Man U is the 2nd best run club in the EPL after Spurs. The amount of money he spent as Man U manager doesn't affect their finances. Never qualify for Champions League also hardly affect them financially.

Our on field success can't help us to compete with them financially.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Thanks for the stuff on FFP and PSR bro

But my point actually relates to Cole Palmer's very high quality football skill ability at only 22yo and English as well

Why then would Pep & City want to sell such an extremely valuable long term asset like Palmer?

And surely Palmer is much more valuable than £40m?

Also not forgetting that Chelsea is a potential local rival

Clearly Chelsea got a very good bargain deal

Means when Man City sells him, it's an immediate $40m profit in their accounts (he was a Man City academy graduate so considered $0 cost to the club.) Plus $40M into this financial year. Very useful for Financial Fair Play. Same reason why Man U sold academy graduates Mason Greenwood and Scott McTominay.

For Chelsea, the $40m cost is spread over the length of his contract. So if a 5 year contract is given, this $40m transfer will appear as a $8m cost over 5 financial years.

The actual term if you wish to google is (Profit and Sustainability Rules -PSR)

Bro Escobar,
why because Cole had been asking for several seasons to leave.

Read old article below.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Thanks a bunch for the link bro

Surprised Pep could not convince Cole Palmer to stay on at City though

Pep must now be disappointed looking at what Palmer has been doing for Chelsea this season

Guess 'revenge' for Chelsea after 'giving away' KDB to City

1. Best way to balance the books is to sell an academy player. They cost the club nothing and Man City can book $40m immediately into that financial year.

2. Potential doesn't equate success. He may turn out to be a big flop too. We sold so many academy players at high prices and they turned out to be flops. $40m for unproven talent is an attractive offer.

3. Hard to retain him because the Man City squad had David Silva/Nasri?/Rodri. Hard to get regular playing time. Plus Chelsea need to spend $1.5 billion (if I recall) as part of the deal to buy over from Roman Abramovich. His wages at Chelsea will be much higher too. Man City will find it hard to match due to FFP restrictions.

4. Man City doesn't care about selling to local rivals. Arsenal changed for the better after Man City sold Gabriel Jesus for a token £25 million. Pep and Arteta are childhood friends. Artete was Man City number 2 manager then too.

5. Local rivals haha... Chelsea even loaned Rahim Sterling to an already strong Arsenal. If this year Arsenal still don't win the league, it will be very laughable.
