I haven't been there, get this info from my friends in Ipoh. The specialities of this port is they provide different type of rooms to fullfil yr needs. They have Cow Boy Room, Jungle Room, etc.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone of you can recommend some hotels in Ipoh town area with room rates of between RM 60 to RM 90 per night.

I recommend you to try Hotel Fairpark. The facilities and the room is good condition. Last time, usually, after I cheong and when I was very tired, I will stay there instead of driving back. The price for 7 years ago was RM80 but now I think it will be slightly higher.

[just behind the Ocean Supermarket, and along this Jalan Horley, there is a flea market every Sunday!]

Clean room and the hotel is built and openned for business in 1998. Rates for a simple room with a single queen size bed with hot shower and Astro TV] going for RM 69. Sometimes you will need to book a little more expensive room at RM 79 due to this RM 69 room is very popular with travelling salesmen. I am a regular staying over in this hotel. You need to take a taxi to cheong along Jalan Kampar.

BTW, what bro Superbaby recommended is a run down hotel [Hotel Fairlane] but this hotel is quite near the cheong places [You & Me, 88, Taiwan]. Want?

If you want some exciting night, try Tambun Inn...guaranteed you get some nice fellas coming over to visit you at night! You can try to suqeeze some 4D numbers from them too!

Kluang’s famed roti bakar now in Ipoh

IPOH: Roti Bakar Kluang, a shop located at the railway station in Kluang, Johor, is famous for its flavourful coffee and scrumptious, mouth-watering charcoal toasted bread or roti bakar spread with kaya and butter.

Customers from near and far have made their way to Kluang to fulfil their cravings – and now they can do so at Kafe Kluang Railway Station here.

The new outlet which began operating on March 16, is located in Bandar Ipoh Raya. It offers the same signature roti bakar and coffee.

Manager Amri Lim said: “From this May, our operating hours will be extended to midnight.”

The cafe also serves Hainan chicken rice and “coffee float”. Kafe Kluang Railway Station also has a branch at the 1 Utama shopping complex in Petaling Jaya.

“Another branch will be opened at Ikea in Bandar Utama in June.
