Am a long time lurker and decided to give back to the community

I typically go solo mongering places based on a lot of internet research. Went to Batam first time this Thursday for a 2D1N stay. Booked the Formosa hotel via Agoda since it was recommended to be in the center of where the night action is. Based on experience - I could have gotten a cheaper hotel for SG $40 in the same area since it was a weekday visit.

Took the Penguin ferry in the morning from Waterfront (SG $38 for a two way ticket) and had to pay USD $10 for a one week visa on arrival at Batam Center. Immigration was smooth - they have a separate line for visa on arrival foreigners and the moment you step out - you're approached by taxi drivers. Got a ride from Batam Center to Formosa Hotel for SG $5 and on the way the driver who spoke broken English asked the purpose of the visit and whether I would require a cewek. Converted 200 SG to IDR at 1SG = 7000IDR at the money changer.

Checked into the hotel at 12PM and the driver who was waiting for me outside took me to a couple of pickup joints. (82 Massage, Gold Birds, Intan Permata, Dynasty, Queen). The mamasan at 82 massage and Gold Birds spoke good English and were very courteous whiles the girls at Dynatsy or Queens I found to be middle age or more. Since I was going in albeit early at 12PM - some of the cewek in the joints were still getting ready for the day.

Personally, the quality of the cewek compared to what is available at Geyland or Orchid in Singapore did not compare and I was quiet disappointed. Revisited Gold Birds and picked up a young cewek "Moza" for IDR 600,000 and got back to the hotel. She was a pretty enthusiastic kisser and very friendly. Had a quick boink but she wouldn't give a BJ or let put cock in her mouth. It was kind of disappointing but she made up for it with her enthusiasm with any position I wanted. After the boink, called the driver using her mobile and we went to Golden Prawn restaurant for a late lunch. Invited the driver too and we kind of went overboard with ordering food. Damage 550,000 IDR which was a bit steep.

Back to hotel and had another boink followed by talking a nap since I had just landed in Singapore that morning. Wasn't in the mood to go out in the night for KTV or disco and preferred to order food to the room. The driver came in the night and said he wanted to be paid for the day and asked for SG $60 which I made my displeasure known right away given that I hardly used his services. Settle for SG $40 and told him I won't need his services tomorrow. Had another boink and slept for the day.

The next day - I gave the cewek a 100,000 IDR tip but she wanted more. Told her that since she didn’t offer a BJ, that was what she was getting. Asked her if she was willing to give BJ and she stuck her ground. Had the complimentary breakfast at Formosa which had good variety if you ask me and gave her a SG $5 to get back to the joint.

During our time together she was very friendly and did let me take photos of her. After each session, she would change into a different change of clothes. Except for her small tits and no BJ - I’d give her a 8/10 for her service. She shared her number and followed it up the next day with an SMS to see her again next time am in town.

Before checking out, I has the 1.5 hour King Massage from Formosa for IDR 90,000 in the room. It was ok and being spent already did not ask for extra services. Checkout out at noon, visited the Nagoya mall and took at taxi back for the 2PM ferry at Batam center. A IDR 51,000 departure fee was collected before leaving.

Damages in total: $411 (in SGD)

Ferry: $38
Visa on arrival: $16
Taxi to Hotel: $5
Cewek + tip : $100
Golden Prawn: 78
Stay at Formosa Hotel: $70
1 day Taxi services: $40
King Massage, Mini Bar and Dinner at Formosa = $51
Taxi back to Batam center: $6
Departure Fee: $7

All in all, summary of the trip is for the money spent, one could have the same in Singapore. But that’s my personal experience ;-)

If you had stayed in a different hotel plus some other place for makan, it would be cheaper. But it is personal.

Frankly, cheapest hotels in Batam are abit ulu, and does not have hot shower facilities. If you really want to enjoy the trip there, go for a decent one that comes with a hot shower. Food wise, it is easy to find food around Nagoya/jodoh area.

Prices range from 120K onwards for a nite. Newer ones like Star Hotel and Utama, pagoda, romance hotel in new Blok are catching on fast. These hotels are cheap and more for bonking. Dont ask me about the rates, as I dont stay in hotels here.
