according to this link here, SUMO spa does provide that service for a small fee (100k), but I have never heard of it from anywhere else.

i tried the private pool at sumo

it costs 150k in addition to the regular fee. the pool is not in the room, it's actually a jacuzzi room with a locked door located at the ground floor. you can stay here 20min then go upstairs to the massage room. it was quite enjoyable: dfk, bbbj, porn movies on the tv.

except for the private jacuzzi i don't really recommend this place though: facilities are bit run down, lounge was pretty dead, limited selection of girls (around 10 locals + few russians). they also charge 60k for the condom. no big deal but don't like this kind of unclear pricing. total cost for local girl: 700k. models cost around 1million so it should be 1.2million with session in private jacuzzi.

I will be staying at shangri-la hotel this week. Is there any Cheong place nearby ? As this is my first trip I do not want to venture too far. Thanks in advance

Honestly speaking, Shangri-la is not in a good location for cheonging. Just stick to B.A.T.S in the basement.

In addition, Jakarta is suffering from severe flooding at the moment and believe me, you don't ant to get stuck in an unfamiliar area.

Thanks bro. Alexis is famous, and I will visit it as soon as I get there. Does it have regular rooms for people to stay a couple of nights & do tourist stuffs? I can only get lucky 2 times each day

I'm thinking of getting a room in the backpacking area (easy access to tours ... ) then take taxi to Alexis. Is that good idea?

Depends on your type of "Cheong" i suggest you go in group for the larger joints. If you are only there for hit and run for the night, Shangrila and Mulia will be good for pickup and head back to hotel.

There was some serious flooding this morning (Wednesday) around Hayam Wuruk.
Rain has eased off but still plenty of excess water around central Jakarta and Ancol.

Yeah, if we have a group, we can hit up the KTV. Since I go alone, I probably just hit up Alexis & other places like that. Will try out Shangrila & Mulia as well. Does Shangrila & Mulia also renting out room?
