nyway I hope he can achieve what the previous managers failed to deliver..... title no. 19
I won't have such high hopes for him in his first season. What I am looking forward realistically is that we should not be losing 8 games in a row. we should try to cut that down by 50 percent. If we can improve our league position by 2 steps upwards . I would be delighted.

Frankly speaking I am worried that BR have not managed to close deal for dempsey or any other new players. I am worried that if next season we will be stuck with the same midfield players and overpriced english players than I don't see any hope at all .

I really hope that BR would be give the youngsters some playing time and slowly ease them into the first team.

I totally agree with some of the views of the bros here that Carragher is way past his prime . He should just slowly fade away from active football. Concentrated on his next phase of his carrer.

As for AC , now wanting to badmouth our club and this player , but we really paid too high price for him . His rate of return is way below our expectation. I know some bros do support him but frankly speaking how many goals has he score for us. He has been given many chances to prove himself match after match but only the last 2 matches he start to show something. If we were to get rid of him we have to lower the price to $20 million. No other clubs would be willing to pay $35 million for AC . Perhaps maybe only Chelsea and Man City.

Hope to see some new signings soon.

These few are current legends . Really i don't know why Liverpool bring back Owen ?

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

So the first match of the North America tour finished 1-1 against Toronto FC.

Out of the 34 players who were taken for the tour, 8 first team squad members did not participate:

Gerrard, Carroll, Johnson, Agger, Henderson, Downing, Kelly and Borini were the missing ones. Reina was not even included amongst the 34 players.

Nice to see all the young players given a run out. I think Suso, Pacheco and Sterling were the stand out ones and they are definitely the future of the Liverpool team.

Lucas played one half and looked very comfortable. He seems to be easing his way back into the team after his injury. This is good news for the club.

Joe Cole and Aquilani also played one half each.

KNN after the match at the press conference BR mentioned he will send Sterling out on loan for 1 season to have more playing time. Why cannot give him playing time with the present squad?

best is to find streams online, didn't notice the game on Starhub or mio.

thought Liverpool were unlucky not to win, especially being denied a very clear penalty.

Sterling and Suso did show some brilliance, I hope they can break into the first team or start Cup games instead of proposing to loan the likes of Sterling.
Ryan Giggs started at a very young age at a desperate Manure, Sterling could shine in a Liverpool desperate for his talents.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Read today ST, 2 news on Pool:

1) Fulham had outrageously demanded for Charlie Adam as a 'sweetener' for Dempsey. Given his potential, I feel Adam should be given at least one last season to prove himself before Pool consider selling him.
2) Juventus luring RVP with Suarez as bait which he could play alongside. Apparently Juve 'increasingly confident' of signing the duo.

As a West Ham fan I also wish Liverpool will win 36 of their 38 BPL games to be played...... just kelong the other 2 games to West Ham . You would still have enough points to win the League Champions.

As I posted about 2 weeks ago, it was Liverpool's idea to add Adam to the deal because Fulham wanted Carroll or Downing.
Even if Fulham don't take Adam, he will still be on the list to be sold hence why Allen is being brought into the club.
I honestly did not see any potential in Adam, he had 2 very good games for us though at Stamford Bridge and against Manure at Anfield.

Many fans have been sharing this sentiment. Either get rid of Adam or Downing. I think Downing has a better chance of staying because of how much he cost the club.
I hope Downing comes good, we know he has the attributes, just zero confidence or the balls to take the lead.
Very important season for Downing and Cole to show if they still got it.
