only our highly paid ICA officers can make tis kinda 'honest' mistake. most probably they were sleeping thru their nite shift!

thanks in the 1st place for trying to answer my queries, but the 2 mth thingy is not true as well as i knew of 1 gal from BJ was rejected to come over after her last trip 2mths ago, btw she only applied to come in on a 7day visa, with a tour agency there in BJ

Aiyah, they (ICA Officer) r oso only human, u try wkin thru the nite c u sleepy a not lor... I sometime really admire them, at 5, 6 am so many motorcycle passing thru woodland they still can tahan, imagine checkin their face againist the passport... etc. I hear tat if they misclearance eg. passenger holding wrong passport but still clear thru, the officer will get a warning letter or mayb kena terminated! With this kind of stress i dun tink its a good job or so called "iron rice bowl" n neither r they highly pay!! At least lower than mine pay! :P

I can tell you seriously, those who kana caught, either for illegally entry or smuggling often shows expression of guilt, or anxiety. They are caught in their own accord, because those officers are well trained in facial observation.

this i can concur with u cause i've seen colleagues smuggling VCDs with a straight face and they were just waved on.

however also got one instance, these dumbwits stopped me and asked if my friend smoked, when they could have easily asked him themselves

thanks for the info, as for me i've tried to apply for her but was rejected, even though i meet the criteria stated above, guess it all boils down to pure luck at the end of the day

in china, police also cannot be trusted. we should give thanks that we singaporeans are so much blessed. but then, at times, we still have to fcuk ICA for screwing up things.
