given your desscription.... you should be seeing a doctor for your sore throat and lack of appetite instead.

it is in your mind my friend. you should be safe... do another test in a couple of month time if you really so scare.

one of the bro here say DSC is just like any other polyclinics.
Must register than got govt subsidies mah....unless you don't want discount
and pay for the full fees.........

Bro,
That is if you are going for the AFA testing then $20. no registration.
Every Wed 6-8pm and Sat 1-4 pm.
Any other days if going for the standard STD/STI tests then must register.

I m confused.
The AFA test is 20 dollars. It only test for HIV right? How about the other STDs like Syphillis/Gnnor/Hep A & B etc.

Can I say that if I want a full test. To clear everything and state that i am clean, I have to wait 3-6mths without sex and then test one Full test which will cost around 70 dollars?

Bro,
AFA only test for HIV during Wed 6-8pm & Sat 1-4pm.
Other days all the standard tests including HIV test.
Each test costs around $20.
When you DSC for blood test without seeing the M.O. They will do the standard tests which are HIV, Syphillis & Hep B.
If you want a full suite you have to inform them.

For HIV
3 months about 90%
6 months to be very sure.

Bro,
The full suite is all the known STD plus HIV tests.
For HIV testing , you need to see a consuellor if first time where you are required to sign a consent form.
If tested positive, CDC,MOH,immediate family members will be informed but not employer.
Alternatively, we can go for AFA to have HIV testing, faster, less troublesome.

it was really a great relieve, emotional relief having tested negative.
my 1st time there and definately an experience of a life time, a packed day, from registration to getting the results took me 1.5hrs.

but i am glad i made to decision to go. Thanks for this informative thread.
