Episode Eleven

It was a beautiful Sunday morning. As usual Yu Hang reached the horse track for her horse riding. Tom was delighted to see her from far. He had always been trying to get close to her. Soon Yu Hang and Ke Chun were in the final year of their law studies. Yu Hang had started to work in her dad office to gain some learning experiences. She also managed to persuade his dad to let Ke Chun work in his company too.

Ya Zhou followed from behind to join in the chase. The suspect pulled out his gun and gave a few shot at both Xiao Yang and Ya Zhou. The gunshot didn’t hit them but Xiao Yang sprained her ankle when she fell. The suspect was gone when Ya Zhou stood up from the ground.

“How are you?” he rushed over to check on Xiao Yang.

“I’m fine…but my leg hurt.” She groaned in pain.

“Let me send you to the hospital.” Ya Zhou helped her up.

The next morning…Ya Zhou stepped into the university again. It had some times since he last came here. He went to the notice board but was disappointed to see no message from Yu Hang. Just as he was about to walk away, he met onto Ke Chun.

“Ya Zhou? Is that you?” Ke Chun was delighted to meet onto his old pal again.

“ke Chun? So great to see you again!” Ya Zhou grabbed onto Ke Chun shoulders.

“So how are you doing?” Ke Chun asked.

“I…err…still looking for job.” Ya Zhou replied. He does not want people to know about his job in the special task force.

“Hey…ask you something? Do you know anyone by the name of Yu Hang?” Ya Zhou asked.

Ke Chun was shocked about Ya Zhou asking. Now he remembered about Yu Hang asking about Ya zhou too. Seemed like they are looking for each other.

“No…I never heard about this name. Who is she?” Ke Chun asked.

“Just a friend…” Ya Zhou replied, and was disappointed.

“I will help you to look out for her.” Ke Chun pretended to be helpful.

Just then his Hp rang.

“Ke Chun…is me.” Yu Hang was on the line.

Ke Chun gave a smile at Ya Zhou and moved a distance away from him.

“Yes…is there anything?” he tried to sound very soft.

“I can’t find some files in the office. I called to check with you.” Yu Hang said.

“Ok…I’ll go back to the office now.” Ke Chun said.

“Sorry Ya Zhou…I need to go now. Let’s meet up for dinner some other time.”

“Sure…see you again.” Ya Zhou said.

Ke Chun reached the lawyer office shortly.

“Great! You are back.” Yu Hang was glad to see him.

Ke Chun searched into one of the cabinet and came back shortly with a few files in his hands.

“Here…these are all the files you need.” He put the files onto the table.

Yu hang opened one of the files and study for few seconds.

“Yes…this is the one.” Yu Hang grinned gratefully at Ke Chun.

“There are certain things I don’t understand. Would you be free to help me?” she asked.

“No problem. My time is all yours today.” Ke Chun was more than happy to help her.

They spent several hours on the work and finally completed it.

“What a day! I wouldn’t have do it without you.” Yu Hang said, stretching her hands out.

“Whenever you need help, I’ll sure be there.” Ke Chun replied.

“You know…sometimes you remind me of a friend. Someone whom I have been always wanting to meet.” Yu Hang said as she thought of Ya Zhou.

Ke Chun knew whom she was referring to. He kept quiet about it.
