You are also close to Medika, which I hear has been renovated and is good now. Another thing you are close to is Ruko Robinson which is perhaps the cheapest area for sex in the city (but still good girls), but if you have never been to Jakarta, that might be difficult for you to find.
If you want to go to Blok M, wait until after 9pm when the traffic dies down. Traffic is crap in that area.
