Re: Batam Info Thread
Just a little report to share.
Went to batam recently and yes prices seem to have gone up quite a fair bit since last year when I was there. Reckon it's the inflation spreading from sg and tourist liao. Taxi for short distance demand 30k, must bargain down to 20k. Went to eat at a indo restuarant shop, 2 person kenna 160k total.. should be about 100k last time, so must ask for menu, check price first before eating. Went to check out Pasific KTV, PR is really syt. duduk will be 400k rph, st 1-2 juta. Too ex so left and went back for a nice indo massage. dmg 250k for 90 mins. Clean, GQ not asked. Overall still fun there but do check out the price and bargain. Cheers |

Furniture still very new. This hotel is half hotel, half kost for monthly rental. If rental per month is 2juta, per day is 140k. Location beside "Hotel Bali" and Indah2. Ideal for short term stay. |

I disagree with your above budget of piak eat piak sleep. See my calculation:- Ferry - $48 (Standard price unless your swim over) Hotel - $20 (Super Budget Hotel) Cewek - $50 (Baby Elephant, Heavyweight Champion or Old Vege) Food - $20 (Budget lunch and Dinner) Transportation - Maybe $10 Entertainment - $0 (Watching TV inside hotel room or Sleeping) So where got $300? $200 smelly smelly more than enought. However 200% agreed with your budget with seafood, entertainment and better cewek, below is my spending calculation. Ferry - $48 Hotel - Between $60 - $80 Taxi - $50 Cewek - $80 - up to $150 Cewek Tips - between $10 - $30 (depends on performance) Breakfast - FOC (Hotel) Normal Lunch - $20 Seafood Dinner + Beer - $100- $150 Entertainment (KTV or Disco) $100 - $200 (depends where you go) The above is just my minimum calculation, my trip will not be less than $500 even for a day trip. Me too received quite alot of reply asking how much is per trip budget, thanks for putting up this post, to whoever bros who PM and ask me, please refer to my budget list. Batam is a place to enjoy and relax yourself, spending how much money is not the main point, so if bros think is expensive, i suggest you skip this paradise. |

suggest you join some of the seniors here for a few times first. Bro cheong is always arranging such trips. feel free to join him. I myself bahasa cmi and prefer simpler quieter chionging, so chiong balai more. difference between both places, please get info from both threads, been discussed multiple times. Happy Chionging, chiong safe and if its too good to be true, it usually is. Last edited by Makashi; 25-04-2013 at 01:29 AM. Reason: typo |
