I think Hidgson is doing this purposely.... and by announcing it early publicly is his way to "tell" BR who's in charge after BR made so much noise over the Sturridge injury incident. I hope England lose all their games and get knocked out of the tournament

OT here..... not really about Liverpool but involves a couple of Liverpool players...... Lucas Leiva & Philip Coutinho.

They will be in Sinagpore with the Brazilian team for a friendly match vs Japan on 14 October....my friend's company has been contracted to provide security and chaperone the players during their stay in Singapore. He needs extra manpower for this job so I volunteered.... provided that I am assigned to chaperone Coutinho.

Hopefully I can add to my collection of Liverpool players whom I've met in person.

Please tell them to up their game and confidence for the Reds (and relay this same message to the rest of the team when they return to Melwood) while you are it, no doubt also stress that naturally all Reds supporters are behind the team no matter what happens come May 15'

In such scenario, I feel Brendan Rodgers should rest Sterling completely.

Beside Sterling , BR should also rest SG . This will give Henderson a chance to proof his captain credentials. If Ds is fit for the QPR game most likely he will come in as a sub in the 2nd half.

These couple of days lots of news on Johnson contract . I am more worried abut his form which had become worse and worse since he came back from his injury. Johnson's contract is up for renew but it is understood that Liverpool wants a cut in his salary based on his current performance. Johnson refused to budge on his salary and hence his talks had stalled. This is causing uncertainty in Johnson's mind as he had admitted that he is living week by week at Liverpool.

The problem is, many clubs know her rejected a new contract recently and his buyout clause is set to drop to £20 million next summer. Therefore, will clubs enter the negotiation now or play the waiting game ?

Really hope Liverpool sign another goalkeeper. Frankly I don't have any more faith in our current goalkeeper. His performance seemed to be going downhill. He is letting in an average of 1 goal per game.

Our guys don't seemed to know how to take care of themselves while on international day. Another problem for BR to solve. Liverpool now only have Toure and Sakho to partner Skrtel.

Liverpool can't wait until summer. They need another striker to come in January. Liverpool's striking department are firing blanks at the moment. I hope Reus will make a switch to Liverpool.

Very true. I only hope that the new players can settle down fast. The injured coming back to the team . BR need to solve Liverpool's defensive woes.

Yes, Liverpool needs a top class striker. But I would be very surprise if Liverpool purchases a striker in the Winter transfer window unless Rodgers ships one striker out.

I expect Liverpool to go in and purchase Reus instead. He will inject the much needed creativity which Liverpool lacks and stabilize the midfield.
