to build a house can be very cheap to very expensive...

most VBs build a simple single story house for 50-100mil dongs in province...

recently I had traveled from Ben Ninh Kieu to Long Xuyen pasing by the following districts in Can Tho, namely Binh Thuy, O Mon, Thot Not...think the residents houses build along the river is not expensive...mostly are wooden and some building bricks houses...

the whole roads are been widening and traffic is slow...

Build a modern house 2 rooms land excluded is about 300 mil dong.

300mil = about 18,750 base on 16,000 exchange rate...but I think yoru time was higher rate...

To us it is considered cheap but to normal working vb they can't afford a decent house even working for 20 years.

Normal wages for worker in vietnam is 200-300 per mth maybe lower in province.
Some working professional hear that can be better like 400-500 per mth.
Deduct away money for food, transport and other daily necessity, how much is left? How to save enough to buy a house? Unless girls go overseas whoring and bring money back.
