I read an article which claimed the club was disappointed with the number of fans during the Australia or Malaysia tour.
I cannot clearly remember.

Anyway, I'm sad to see Lambert move on.
He was much better than Balotelli and Borini.
When he played he was really committed and did contribute to the team with his movement and holding players off.
Good experience wasted.

Good luck to him... Btw, he scored 2 goals on his WBA debuts this morning...

I like him too, always gives his 100% when he is on the pitch and never complain when he isn't playing...

Pity that his dream move to his boyhood club has no fairy tale ending...

Liverpool has lost an amazing lad in Rickie Lambert.

His commitment and dedication to cause were never in question although Brendan rarely showed faith and trust in this big front man with the Liver Bird tattoo.

Once again Brendan has displayed he has no capability to manage experienced individuals and Reina, Agger, and Gerrard are fine examples.

It was Malaysia, quite a poor turn out compared to their previous trip to KL, from 50k+ attendance dropped to around 30k+ attendance. There was some explanation given by the local agent but I cant recall what that was?

Australian trip on the otherhand was a success, 70k+ turn out!

This is another player which BR did not use more of . He is actually much better than Balotteli in terms of position and ball control skills. I too would have love to keep him and sell Borini and Bollleteli . Liverpool lose money on Lambert . We bought him for 4 million pounds and sold him for 3 million pounds to WBA . I wish him all the best at WBA . Benteke will inherit the No 9 number .

Hope Benteke's debut beauty of a goal against Swindon is a sign of 20 plus EPL goals from him for the coming season. Firmino looked very good on his debut as well. Also happy to see Can playing in his favoured position at long last.

Can't wait for the starter at the Britannia this Sunday, but still worried about the Reds defence and the overall balance of the team. Come on you Redmen, Lfc desperately need to return to the CL for season 16/17!
