Well said, bro escobar. But let's not get carried away, after all it was a non-competitive game and maybe the Barca lads were not up to speed in their pre-season.

Still it was a good workout for our lads with new boy Sadio Mane opening the scoring, old boy Javier Mascherano diverting a shot into his own net, another classy finish by Divock Origi and Marko Grujic heading in the 4th goal in stoppage time.

It was only a friendly , let's not read too much abt the result.
I watched the game, Messy and Suarez were lacklusture, save for flashes of individual brilliance.
But I'm not taking any credit off our boys.
They were determined to prove themselves before season starts.
Mane in particular had an outstanding game.
Hope they carry the good form into the new season.

Fair comment. Recall the Reds beating Klopp managed Dortmund 4 nil as well in an earlier pre-season game, but sadly fizzled out during the actual season itself. Ironically, perhaps the difference than and now is Klopp in place of Rodgers

Ah Gong happy with the result . But then the result don't mean anything . The real test is in the BPL games and how well Liverpool will finish it.

Really this Sturridge really made of tofu . Again injuries. His MC and hospitilization also use up . Liverpool really jialat before the season starts already many sick chickens seeking treatment. Agree with everyone here that Liverpool needs a new left back ASAP and maybe another striker. Liverpool must sell off the 2 gorillas even if it is at a loss .

Origi is coming up, Ings is proving a nice backup.

Liverpool have nearly always upped their game wen playing top tier teams it in big matches in order to do well the league they must win more games in the bread and butter games in order to gain Pt's and not only play well in big games but plat well in all games and next season esp we can only concentrate on league no distractions

Actually Sadio Mane should be our main striker instead of playing the wings.
I loved the way he beat the Barca defence on so many occasions with his movement and speed...... I dun think there's many CBs in the BPL that can match his speed and incisive runs.

No need to buy another striker..... Sadio Mane is The Lethal One !

This Mane can play anywhere upfront including striker ; number 10 can play left or right . Love his movements so far . Hope he doesn't disappoint us .

We should leave Mane in the wings because the team does not have speedy wingers with decent technical flair.
Unless the manager decides to groom Markovic.
Give Ings a chance forward and I believe he will bag at least 12 to 15 goals.
In 2 seasons he will be our 20 goal striker.

The problem with Liverpool is that they need to be playing consistently well every game . They should also learn not to underestimate their opponents .
