Over in Cambodia it is extremely common to see tour buses choked full of vietnamese tourists so expect to cram together with them

That is why I say any travel agency in hcm can....because all share a few of the private buses company going to Cambodia....

Flight unless u want to stop n smell the roses. I took a double decker "Lux" bus n was half dead when I arrived in PP. The road works on certain stretches of the route are excruciating to travel unless you are a hardcore budget traveler. From PP I took a hired car ride to Siem Reap. Along the way, you can do a detour to tonle sap.
