I was not aware that you had started writing again on this. Your story was so good that I had decided to read it from the start again after first reading it 6month back.
It is indeed a pleasant surprise to find you writing again.

They took the remaining three bags and loaded inside my car at the rear seat.
Boss : u ok ?
Me : yes, much better.
He hands me a piece of paper .
Boss: do you know how to get to this place?
Me : yes I do .
I remember I ever drop a client there before. The client did not wish to drive and book for a drive home service.
Boss: let's go, you take the lead now.
I turn left into lor 30 geylang . And loop out into geylang road. I passed by lor 28 geylang on my left and stop just outside the pub. There were a lot people smoking just outside the pub . The bouncers were there too and there were looking at our cars. The bodyguards came out first and they held on to the three bags.
Boss : park the car outside, you come in with us.
Me : ok.
I came out and hand over the key to the other driver. I told both of them to wait outside and move the car if the summon Aunty comes.
The place was pumping with music from the live band . The backdrop of the stage were two neon light circles . The disco lights were flashing non stop , my eyes took some time to get used to it. The whole place was filled will second hand smoke.
We were usher straight to three VIP tables right in front of the stage.
The thai singers were singing and grooving to the live band music. The crowd was supporting some of the favorite singers with ten dollars flowers to banner starting from 100 all the way to thousand of dollars. There are a lot Vietnam gals around providing " company" to male counterparts. Non of them dare to approach us.
A Chinese bouncer came out to me .
Bouncer : friend ... You big boss arh ?
Me : no , I just the driver..
The boss sat at the middle table . On his left and right were all flank with his followers facing the crowd instead of the stage.
The three bags were just placed at the foot of the table.
The three tables were all fill with alcoholic drinks , ice, mixer, beer etc.
The boss used his hand gesture to signal me to help myself. The music was too loud and we can't hear ourself if we talk.
I took two shots of whisky to calm myself down.
The big boss was throwing money like nobody business. He keeps hanging flowers for the singers and tipping the waiter and waitress .
Boss: they know Cantonese song ? .... He ask me,
Me: I checked with them... I shouted back to his ear due to the noisy background.
I pull one of the thai singer .... And ask...
" beyond song ? " .... Took out my iPhone and play the mp3 song ... Placing it at her ear.
THAI singer : nod her head.
She went to the band leader and whisper into his ear. Band leader look at me gave me a thumbs up.
Next song the band play...
" Zhen de ai ni .....by beyond in Cantonese.
I look at the boss. He was standing up and waving his hands. Well looks like he is enjoying it. The flower gal shyly ask him if he want to hang flower. He pointed to the banner on the stage one thousand dollars .. And circle all around the stage. The poor flower gal panic and ran to do her job.
The band leader clap his hands together and placed it above his head. Looking at my dierection. I directed his attention to the boss. He turn towards the boss and bow down slightly.
After the song ended , the boss spoke to his PA . Suddenly , all the bodyguards started to head towards the door. It was time to leave. He left the two bags on the floor and his PA only carry one bag out.
Nobody stopped us or question us. I then saw the local bouncers stand near the two bags on the floor guarding it.
I started the car immediately...
Airport ...the boss echoed.
I took ECP route to the airport.
Boss : pull over just before we reached the airport.
Me: yes sir.
I make a detour and went into the route leading Laguna golf and country club.
I stopped the car.
Boss : give him a name card... Speaking to his PA.
Boss: email me if you coming to HK, I will make the necessary arrangements for your stay.
Me: thank you very much
Boss: here this is something for you.
I look at stack of one thousand notes. Is easily a five figure amount.
Me: thank you I will share it with the two drivers.
Boss: good let's go.
I drop them off at the airport and I never bum into them anymore,
I later find out they don't used the same driver twice.
True. I was there working. Only 1 thai pub over there.
