Or Tawandaeng (micro brewery) near Sathorn I think. Great draft beer and pig knuckles, not that expensive. Comes with live entertainment, beats Coliseum (in my books). But advised to book ahead esp fris/sats, or prepared to Q.

Agree, seen better days (food, crowds, entertainment). Similiar to now defunct Brew Pavilion (now Pumps Up for younger crowd?) along Ratchada. But location's more convenient than Tawandaeng

Town in Town is a hotel located off Ladphrao (full address - 300/1 Ladprao 94,Wangthonglang, Bangkok 10310. If I'm not wrong there's a restaurant nearby serves good food. But I'm not sure of the name.

I think the Tawandaeng u talking about is in Nawamin, not Sathorn. Probably there might oso be 1 in Sathorn. I'm not familiar & dun go Sathorn area. Nawamin & Sathorn are in opposite directions.

Am going BKK end of this month. Heard from my friend that there is some nice seafood buffet that cost less than 200 baht. Any one have any good recommendations?

last time we tried the open air restaurant, yes - good food. Just at the opp junction. No air-con but nice sea food too.

Chanyboy,

You are the man, we need to call you Mr. Rachada from now on with all your knowledge about sanuking in Rachada! Moreover, during our last trip to Bangkok, thanks for buying me a delicious seafood dinner.

In my opinion, for the money, best place to eat seafood, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and American food is at Oishi Buffet Restaurant at Siem Discovery Center. Kind of expensive but the amount and variety of food is worth the money!
