Bro 5529,i think the best is to just let go and carry on with yr life.to go through this path will be expensive,time consuming and detrimental to yr health emotionally,physically & mentally.As you enjoyed those two yrs together just give wat you gave voluntarily . the retribution will come abt to her soon if not ever.Just ask for an amicable ending (meaning you dun pay her a cent). as for the emotional side time will heal for you. I know easier said then done. but believe me few mths down and you will be a better prepared man. I'm sure most bros and i here am counting on you to put up yr bravest front here so bro saddle up

The cost of engaging a PI for such a case range from $3000-$5000. ... Better than ended she is asking for half of your assets..

U think she still can perform anything funny once she is caught red-handed???? Prove to the court all the evidences the PI collected and that will be the end of the whole episode...

I am afraid this statement is sorely wrong. The law does not considers whom is the one at fault in awarding maintenance, normally these 2 issues (divorce, maintenance settlement) are carried out separately.

Even if you got a divorce, I am not sure her PR status is automatically revoked. Citizenship and marital issues are two seperate things. To cancel a wife's PR is not based solely on her marital status. Otherwise no talented person would want to come to Singapore to work if they can lose their PR just because their marriage fail.

Of course you can argue your PRC wife does not fall into the professional category. I am not too sure the law discriminates that. You might want to check with ICA.

You are right. Only if husband is the sponsor for the wife's PR due to marriage then wife PR is automatically revoked upon divorce. However ICA will grant a grace period for the ex-wife to leave pending appeal. Of course she can also enter into a another marriage since she is now single again and her new singaporean husband can be her new sponsor for PR. You see you can't just drive her away from Singapore. So just settle the divorce and let her do whatever she want so long she disappear from your life.

My fourth Aunt run away wif another man, came back for maintenance and child's custody. My fourth uncle has a 5k stable job. He lost half of his asset and custody to the children (the children choose to stay wif their mum) and hav to pay the bitch maintenance and child's. My fourth uncle has been quite strict wif his children tat's why they prefer the caring mother who spoilt them more.

My fourth uncle wanted everything to end asap, tat's why he gave in to many things during the court case. The mental torture to him must be tremendous. Before everything even begin, he already lost.

Bro i suggest u to move on with ur life. Find way to get divorce and not see her again. You cant force her out of Sg because she will force her way in again in which will reverse all ur effort and time wasted.

This statement is wrong!
The husband or ex-husband cannot cancel the PR even when the Decree Nisi becomes absolute. He can only withdraw as her sponsor. ICA will ask for a written statement to place on record his request but the ex-wife's PR will be allowed to run its course until due for renewal, then ICA will review whether to extend or terminate the PR.
