They can lie to people but they cannot lie to themselves. The money they send back home monthly, don't tell me no one is astonished at that amount? And they will always say they tell their parents back home in thailand that they are working as cashiers, salesgirl, waitresses in sg. There are girls who come down and work as above but they don't earn that much. Just that the folks back home chose to believe the lies and take it as the truth in order not to make themselves sad.
