Re: Mumbai
All over India, you wont have any luck, unless you know people there. Dont go to those dancing bars which are in seedy suburbs. Cops raid them all the time.
Dont even think about going to the red light district. Its 10 times worse than Dolly in Surabaya. cages of monkeys yelling for your money. Keep it in your pants till u get back home. Be careful when an Indian says "its only 10 minutes away". Its probably 1 hour by junk taxi cos Mumbai is in length, like a finger. So North (airport) to South (best part) is between 1-2 hours and longer during working hours. |

Re: Mumbai
Now stucked in Mumbai ... really hard to find action, and make the exploration much more cumbersome by the horrific traffic. One of the worst work-travel place to be. Anyway, will try to go the malls during the weekend ... hopefully the traffic is bearable.

Re: Mumbai
Spoken to one angmoh in the hotel lobby. He advised against the ads in the Mumbai Mirror, as he went thru this before. He said those are just con job; spelt fat & ugly . Had a good laugh listening to his stories. But he did mention about the expensive escort (>SGD400) that may have good quality, but way out the budget.

Re: Mumbai
Ya, agreed the food is okay. Went to the China House lounge last night (Saturday nite) ... no crowd even at 11.30 pm. Only few sofas are occupied, but did see quite a nos of chics (but with their BF). But have to buy prepaid card to buy drinks at this lounge. Celini restaurant is alrite but not great. Are you in Mumbai too?
