Fukuoka - South Japan

Just got back from Hakata Fukuoka.
Found the place, Bro Addictedtonitro had mentioned, it is called "Nakasu".
Just tell the taxi driver the name, it is near to Tenjin.

If you ignore them and continue into the lanes, there are many "houses",
some big, while others are very small and compact.
Each house has at least one OKT standing outside, asking you to go in.
A lot ignore you when they found out you are "non-Japanese", but some accept.
Enter a few such houses, unlike my fav Geylang, where we can look at the fishes in the tanks,
they only provide Photos usually about 4 to 6 girls.

Not sure whether it is due to the "recession", but the price is lower at 15000yen for a 50mins session.
The price varies according with the time length.

Was in Fukuoka recently and stayed at the Hyatt. Nice rooms and the red light area 'Nakasu' is just opposite the hotel. Behind the hotel is Canal City which is a large shopping complex. Cross the road in front of the hotel and you are in Nakasu. You will have to run the gauntlet of OKTs and the collection of about 100 small joints, cross the next street and you would be in the night entertainment area of Fukuoka with a large collection of restaurants, KTVs and pubs.
Some of the small joints accept foreigners as stated by TS. Prices range from 15000 yen for 40 -50 minutes to about 30000yen for two hours. Cheaper in the daytime with different rates for 9-12noon and 12 to 5pm and then peak time is usually 5pm onwards till closing
I stopped by one of the outlets, name was in Japanese, and using sign language took the 20000yen for 70 min. option. Chose Miho and went up to her room. Given a nice foam shower on the funny stool with access to my buttcrack. There could possibly be such play acting facilities, but unless one can speak Japanese, it would not be possibly to pinpoint any such outlets. There would be about 100 outlets in the Nakasu area and they practice cluster advertising. On the ground floor of some of the building complexes, there would be a showroom where all the tenants advertised collectively. There would be a manned information counter, but the counter staff could only speak Japanese.

You mean the area frequented by the personnel from the USAF detachment based there? The bars are mostly staffed by pinays and to a lesser extent some PRCs.

KTV type bars only - no fish tank like Tobita shinchi ((飛田遊廓) in Osaka.

Between the Hakata train station and Tenjin shopping area is the island Nakasu. About 600 m long and 200 m wide. Not so obvious on Google streetview, but it lights up at night. KTVs every 5 feet. There will be guys standing outside the KTVs asking you to come into their place. They must think I look Japanese and approached me every time. I think will be like KTVs here, buy drinks and talk cock sing song. Suspect will need a bit more than basic Japanese to get the most out of it.

Did not try as was with colleagues - actually as in most places in the world - the great drinking bars are all there.
