I am happy for Coutinho because he gave us 5 years and won nothing.
Hopefully he wins something in the next 5 years and as the situation is now he will probably bag the La Liga title in a few months.
What is amazing is both Klopp and Coutinho have said Coutinho is leaving to achieve his dream.
This is a perfect example of the reality of Liverpool FC.

Coutinho wanted to leave earlier but he stayed and did he play well? We dunno what was the negotiation between Barca and his agent. Barca might issue a come or never. Looking at Liverpool, nothing can be achieved but joining Barca, league and CL titles are possible season after season.

Why dun u label VVD as asshole? Why will u accept an asshole to play for Liverpool? Again, there is a group of so called "small heart" human, favor u, u praise, against u, u condemn.

Got no problem with anyone wanting to leave the club when they dont wish to be there but it has to be on our terms.

Barca and Coutinho have acted poorly and selfishly which ever way you look at it and comparison with VVD is misconceived because in VVD's case he is not cup tied in CL and Southampton have nothing to play for and appear to need the cash to buy a good striker.

There is absolutely no good reason why Barca and Coutinho could not have done a deal similar to the Leipzig/Keita deal i.e. sign now and move next season. Coutinho cant play in the CL this season and Barca dont seem to need him urgently for the remainder of La Liga either. So why the rush?

Whichever way you look it, Coutinho leaving now puts an unnecessary higher risk of us not making Top 4 and also progessing further in CL.

Still wish Coutinho well but end of the day he falls into the Owen, Torres category to me, ambivalent feelings if he ever returns to Anfield unlike say Suarez who acted more decently in the end and who will always be warmly welcomed to Anfield by me.

Ah Gong feels that no player ; manager and or club owners greater than the club. Sadly after FSG took over Liverpool have not won any major titles. Ah Gong won't be surprised most of the players coming to Liverpool won't last long and the good ones will eventually put in a transfer request . Liverpool must start being ambitious and start to win trophies . If not Liverpool will only be a mid level team. Good Luck to Coutinho!!! Disappointed on how Coutinho pushed for the transfer to happen. Barcelona should be very ashamed because the club made the situation difficult for Liverpool and Coutinho!!! Previosuly Barcelona made a problem in the Suarez signing!!!

News coming out from Anfield report differently. It says Klopp will plumb for Mahrez if they cannot get Lemar....Klopp even commented that boy is very talented but will need to finetune some areas to fit into the team.
