Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
100womenrescuedfromAngele
By DJ Yap Philippine Daily Inquirer 4:35 am | Thursday, June 30th, 2011 MANILA, Philippines—At least 100 female sex workers, some of whom had “V” tags, indicating they were still virgins, were rescued, and five foreigners were arrested in successive raids on three night clubs in Angeles City on Tuesday night, the police said Wednesday. The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said joint police antihuman trafficking operatives rescued the women from the Sunshine Bar, the Blue Nile and the Golden Nile night clubs along Fields Avenue in Barangay Balibago. “The women don’t really consider it a rescue. They kept cursing us and tried their best to escape,” said CIDG Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) head Supt. Emma Libunao, who led the raids. She said the women were mostly from Mindanao who were promised jobs as factory workers, waitresses, or sales ladies. Upon arriving in the city, “they would wait tables at first, then before long, they would start entertaining guests at the table,” Libunao said. She said she assumed that some of the rescued women were below 18. “They were taught to say they’re 18.” ‘V’ for virgin Undercover agents posing as customers were even offered the sexual services of girls with the “V” label. “They called it ‘cherry popping.’ They’d say, ‘I’m a virgin so I’m more expensive.’” One of the girls said she was only 16 and asked for P100,000, Libunao said. The raids on the Blue Nile and Golden Nile, two night clubs reportedly owned by an Irish fugitive Richard Douglas Agnew along Fields Avenue in Angeles City stemmed from the complaint of the Crusade Against Good Customs and Decency International, a nongovernment organization based in the city that fights sex tourism. Agnew was not present during the raid, but he would be charged with violations of the Anti-Trafficking of Persons Act, Libunao said. The raid of Sunshine Bar resulted in the rescue of 17 sex workers and the arrest of the manager, Terrence James Smith, an Australian national. Police said Smith would be charged with human trafficking, which carries a maximum prison term of life. Libunao said the others arrested included three Americans and a Japanese. One of the Americans was later released. With a report from AFP |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
yah, my case, the girl want to super-glue me .. I smart, I said "no can do .. " and true enough, they let us off ..
if I become Hero and defend the girl .. no idea what I will be doing .. In Any country, law, you can be held upto 72 hour before filing charge, if I am not mistaken .. so to spite you, the cops can hold you one day and when your kith and kin start to search, then release you with no charge ..

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Not very interesting news. . .
Looks like changes are in the offing in AC Jun 30, 2011 ANGELES CITY –Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan said yesterday that his administration is fully supporting any effort against human trafficking. He also reiterated his administration’s firm stand to “uphold laws against human trafficking and decency.” Pamintuan expressed support to recent raids conducted jointly by the Department of Justice’s Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (DOJ-IACAT), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) on girlie bars along Fields Avenue that reportedly rescued 100 female workers. “We fully support the campaign against human trafficking and acknowledge the CIDG and police authorities efforts at curbing trafficking in our city,” Pamintuan said. “That is why I keep on reminding bar owners to observe and comply with national laws and local ordinances concerning their operations to avoid these incidents of raids conducted by the national law enforcement agencies,” he added. However, Pamintuan reminded police authorities that the human rights of those who were rescued and detained should be respected and preserved accordingly. He also said that his administration will continue to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and begin to implement a more sustainable program at improving and ridding Fields Avenue of human trafficking and sex trade. “This will include a total revision of the physical and business outlook of Fields Avenue as a legitimate and wholesome tourist destination,” the mayor said. Pamintuan stressed the need for the city’s tourism plan to gain full support from businessmen and other stakeholders. “In light of the close scrutiny on the entertainment strip, it becomes all the more necessary to concretize the transformation of Fields Avenue into a wholesome district filled with bars and restaurants and with a controlled area for adult entertainment,” he said. Among his first official acts as mayor, Pamintuan issued Executive Order No. 13 on July 23, 2010 creating the Angeles City Task Force Against Human Trafficking which provides the regulatory and enforcement infrastructure and the social, moral and economic rehabilitation of victims of human trafficking. To help curb human trafficking in Angeles City, the city government will come up with an ordinance setting minimum age of women working in night clubs to 21 years. Pamintuan also asked bar owners, workers and entertainment groups to police their own ranks. He also urged them to strictly follow local laws, including regulations on getting business permits, licenses and in paying taxes. The raids on the Blue Nile and Golden Nile night clubs, reportedly owned by Irish man Richard Douglas Agnew, stemmed from the complaint lobbed by the Crusade Against Good Customs and Decency International, a non-government organization based in the city that fights sex tourism. Authorities also raided the Sunshine Bar that resulted in the rescue of sex workers and the arrest of the floor manager Terrence James Smith, an Australian. –Angeles CIO |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Philippine-addicts.com is the one.
Last heard golden night is back in action but there is some tame down from the dancer abt the action and costume. Actually I reckon that everything gonna be back to normal as usual. Understand that some bro are really worried abt the raid getting caught etc. I will say dun think abt it too much.enjoy the drink today for there is sorrow tomorrow. If really get caught in the raid and brought to Manila for questioning, the most u get is they hold u for 36hours and frighten u into paying $$$ to get out the 1st couple of hours initially.they can't charge u for drinking in the bar unless ur cock is in some girls mouth when they raid.be polite but be firm.cooperate with the police but hint to them that you are not gonna be sucker into paying any bribe for nothing. Most of the time raid for anything in Philippine/Thailand Indonesia is always invole in money.and more money.do u really think they care about rescuing the girls who dance freely on the stage openly scantily dress and call them human trafficking by the owner? While some may say it's not worth it to be caught for some pussy action.I weight the consequences.what am I willing to prepare for the worst senario if issue arise.if it's what I handle I hit it. Life is stress enough,if even drinking and mongering is a stress to oneself then it's truly pathetic. Raid is just like accident.both happen if u are at the wrong place wrong time.u can Siam, but u cannot predict.why worry to much? Cheers
