Silver lining in the defeat is that Ah Klopp cannot sit on his fat ass again this summer like he did last year, hoping to help Fenway group save money by working with the same bunch of players. Reinforcement needed in midfield, defence and also goalie dept.

It is certainly obvious that Liverpool need another central defender to partner with VVD . VVD alone cannot solve all of Liverpool's defensive woes if his fellow players continues to make mistakes at critical moment. Hear that Liverpool is trying to get Burtland from Stoke . Seriously ?

This Lovren can't run and now can't jump, he is only 29yrs this year. Even Alan Hansen in his 30s can run faster than him. Total disgrace to the No 6 jersey worn by the Red's greats over the years. Yet somehow he always get selected for the big matches.

To be fair, if no mistakes were made by players, than no goals would be scored. Defenders would get the most blame if they lose the match, that's how it is! Lukaku is a powerful n skilful player, it may not make much of a difference even Vvd had marked him.
It was the same when Mcity conceded 4 goals against Pool, the goals Pool scored were also defensive errors by Mcity. Let's face it, Manure was the better team that day. They defended well n scored when given the opportunities! Don't see Pool winning that day, it was a poor performance collectively.

Seville who beat us in the Europa League finals managed to score 2 goals and won against Man Utd.
