Other than Silkair and Tiger, Shenzhen Air used to fly there but have discontinued the service for awhile already, eversince Air China bought over it. I dunno if they have resumed the flight. Hi all, I am thinking of staying at Sheraton futian. Do you think it is easy to go from HK rather than direct to SZ. Any happenings near to Sheraton futian?

hi bro c_j, the matter of convenience depends on your itinerary and $ affordability. If you fly in by Tiger, by the time you reach town it's past midnite lor! Since you would be staying in Sheraton I presume $ is not an issue, and you are likely to fly Silkair. If that's the case, then it's certainly more convenient to fly direct to SZ!

Personally I would opt to go via HKIA because of the more choice of flights and flexibility to suit my schedule, and also because I'm so used to it. Here's what you could do - 1) Arrive HKIA, proceed to mainland coach station. Enquire with the 3 operators at the counter which one provides the shuttle service to Sheraton doorstep. The fare is HK$150 or can pay RMB but you lose out in exchange rate. It's a regular shuttle so waiting time is not more than 15mins. Depending on traffic and checkpoints' clearance time, the journey takes 45mins max. And you travel comfortably in an MPV! 2) Even if you can't get the doorstep transfer, any operator will get you to the Huanggang Checkpoint. Once clear immigration and outside, across the road via overhead pedestrain bridge, you will find a long line of cabs. Metered fare should be no more than 20rmb for 10-min ride to Sheraton.

Sorry, I don't have updated info on the chiong happenings. (For past 4 years, my freedom to chiong in South China is greatly restricted. Upon arrrival until departure, most times my 老婆 shadowed me everywhere!) You may want to check through the threads here. Many bros here are real generous to update info and share experiences which are accurate and reliable. I can suggest you drop in to Coco Park though, after 9pm. It's very near the hotel. Definitely happening place. Many SYTs hanging around awaiting opportunities. I used to see girls throwing me signals even though my 老婆 was with me! It's up-market though, if you get want I mean. Normally my friends paid 1,5k to 2k to bring back to hotel an overnight session until about noon next day!

Hi,

I stay at four pOint Sheraton futian (quite near HK border) before, but not sure is this the same sheraton futian u staying in.

No action around four point Sheraton.

What I did was get the help of the taxi driver.

I board a taxi around 9pm n ask taxi driver any place to find gal.

He say have but I told him I cant go cos got dinner appt (I lie)

Then I ask whether he can help fetch the gal to my hotel at 11pm.
( must remember to agree with him the gal charge)

He agreed, think he must get commission from gal okt, n I give him my china Hp number n told him the type of gal I want (didn't expect the same type).

The taxi driver call me around 11pm n say he at the lobby with the gal.

I went down, give him rmb50 as tip n went up with the gal.

U can try the same if u really can't get any action.
