My 2 cents worth. Bus from the Customs is good for those who has not been to the HKIA before. It take a while for ppl to know the transport route and where to take the bus. If newbie is travelling, my advise is to take bus as the person is taken care of from the boarding till the drop off at the airport.

Taking the KCR --> MTR --> Airport express is a waste of time. KCR --> bus 43A is complicated for newbie IMHO. Bus is the safest choice. Dun want ur sweetheart to get loss and miss the plane when travelling to meet u rite?

My suggestions is to take a taxi to SZ Huang Kang Custom
At the Taxi Stand near the SZ custom (Huang Kang), buy a ticket for direct travel to HK Airport
A MPV will fetch your PRC direct to Airport
In tis way, dun need to walk thru SZ and HK customs
All the way sit inside the car / MPV
(Juz like travelling to Malaysia in a vehicle)
I find this arrangement best for sotong Kia ... no hassle plus comfort travel thru custom. Lowu custom might be a bit confusing for people first time travelling HK-SZ

Agreed with the above. Takes about 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Anyway the earlier the better... HKIA got good shopping place.

I think there is ferry from Shekou to HKIA. Then you would not have to go through the long queue at the customs.

Hotels in SZ city

Does any brother has any recommendations for hotels in RMB200 region in SZ city?

Was in this place call Lao Di Fang and ChunFengLu, about 15 minute's walk from Lowu Station. 198 per night, sat 248. 3 star but bloody whole night got disco "Bom Bom" sound untill I cannot sleep.

P.S. Really recommend you guys to try China chatrooms. I think a lot of lonely woman in SZ. Can screw FOC. Or maybe there's an easier way to get in contact with those lonely Er Nai?
