Today's rate at woodlands causeway 9am went below sea level at RM$226.00. Hope it'll go up very soon.

Eversince the Chinese Lunar New Year, the rate in Jalan Wong Ah Fock is fixed at RM226. I have changed at Arcade yesterday and the rate is RM229... RM3 difference for every SGD$100...

Yeap, went over last night and at Meldrum Walk, noticed only 3 $ changer open for business. All 3 outlets same = RM226 to S100.00. Reckon the rate will only "move" on monday when all the banks are opened for business...

Arcade is not in Malaysia. It's just next to Raffles place MRT station.
The rate today is also fixed at RM231...

Read from newspaper that there would be a likelihood that the exchange rate will drop drastically this year 'cos Malaysia might want to peg the ringgit to green bag at a lower rate, probably a 20% drop. If like that suay lah....

What "JBCheongster" trying to say is that Malaysia riggit is most likely to drop down this year, i.e. may not be what we are getting now (S$100 - ~RM$230). However, the rates may not drop so fast to the 'pre-97' crisis level.

If you have some spare cash, may want to consider putting some cash in Fix deposit (FD) in Malaysia banks. Like some of my friends are doing now.
