Need Info on PRC Visa etc

I have a same problem. My gal now on singer work permit but she's leaving the club to be with me. (Yes, she passed her Beijing exam etc) But once she give up the job, the permit will be revoked so I'm trying to get her a work permit here to stay for 1/2 yrs renewable then move her to Malaysia where I'll be stationed there next year.

Anyone knows anybody in SG that can apply for a PRC work permit? If not she cannot come back for min 6 months as she has a "Singer pass" before. She also cannot apply for a student pass.

I was told they can change name/passport etc. pay about RM20K? Then come in under tourist visa/pass. She will not be working @ clubs & intends to study English.

what happens when your prc wife, who has already ROM with you, got caught working in KTV?

Im refering to actual real wife. not prcs who pays you to marry her to get a ltsp. a actual wife who's also in joint application for a hdb flat with you, but she havnt gotten her PR yet.

student pass holders who are spotted in ktv means deportation. how about my situation??? any advice from bros deeply appreciated.

Its the same treatment as the rest unless she is PR. Deportation plus 3 years. Seen many cases like this, some of them stayed in singapore for quite some time even.

This maybe a little bit off from TS topic, but i am kinda lost and desperate and reali need SBF bros help. My situation goes like this.

I am planning to get married in China next friday and i called up their ROM to check what documents do i need. They mentioned need passport and also a cert to prove that i am single and not married in Spore. I have done so by doing the marriage search record at Spore ROM, translate into chinese at sub court, went to have it certified at MFA and finally endorse at China Emabssy. Wasted quote some $ on the documentation.

Just when i tot evithing was done, the china embassy told me that they do not recognise this marriage search record and would need a cert stating clearly that i am single currently and not married. They mention to have it done at what they call 公证局，and then endorse at China Embassy, else i cant get marry over there

I am flying off next week and very worry as time is running out. I do not want to make a wasted trip over there. Any kind bros who have experience this issue, can you pls be a kind soul and help to highlight me. Reali need ur help.

I have gone through the whole thing in getting the documentation for marriage in China.

The following steps will save you a lot of hassle:
(1) Obtain from ROM your marriage search records
(2) Contact any Law Firm with Notary Services and schedule an appointment to prepare the Affidavit of Single Status
(3) Bring along your Singapore Passport, Singapore NRIC, ROM Search Records, Decree Nisi Absolute (if any - for divorcees), or Death Certificate (if any - for widowers)
(4) Take a oath in front of the Notary Public, and ask for the documents to be in RIBBON. Should be ready within an hour.
(5) Bring the ribbon document set to the Singapore Law Academy (at Supreme Court) for Authentication. Should be ready within 3 days.
(6) Bring the authenticated Affidavit of Single Status to the China Embassy for Legalisation. Will take a few days unless super express service. Remember to photocopy 2 sets for submission at Embassy.
(7) Next when you arrive in China, go the to nearest Singapore Embassy/ Consulate that is responsible for the province you intend to marry in... and get the Singapore Consulate/Embassy to issue you a Certificate on Eligibility to Marry. You need to bring the Legalised Affidavit of Single Status to the Singapore Consulate/ Embassy. Can get the Certificate on Eligibility to Marry within 1 or 2 days.
(8) Next being the Certificate on Eligibility to Marry and the Legalised Affidavit of Single Status to the marriega bureau of the province that you intend to marry in. It will be recognised.

Hi all,

Just help a friend did Application for Extension of Social Visit Pass.
And application for an extension of your social visit pass is approved and extended for a month.

However, i am puzzled as to weather if there is a need to make payment?

It did say in FAQ on ICA website that:

Who needs to pay for applying extension online?

If the application is approved, an In-Principle Approval notice will be sent to applicant who are required to make payment of a visa fee. Payment can be made by Mastercard and Visa issued by Mastercard or Visa Electron. Once the Credit transaction is successfully completed, applicant will be notified of his/her application status.

When should I make payment?

Payment has to be made within the stipulated time indicated on the In-Principle Approval notice or the application will be treated as withdrawn.

But when i tried to make payment under Visa Payment for Extension of Social Visit Pass, it tells me No Visa Payment required.

Please enlighten?

Why do u want to get marry in China? Marry in China and she will not get S-PR anymore. U have to marry in Sing to get S-PR

please dun get confuse b/t marriage and getting PR

marriage very easy, just register with ROM wait for certain number of days ( i think is 14 days) and if no one objects then can married

after marriage whether the previous background of holding singer permit will effect her chances of getting PR depends on immigration

Yes, marriage does not garantee PR immediately or automatically. There will be a series of process before PR is considered.

I also used to have a friend who was holding a singer-VISA, but I did not marry her. kekeke....
