Handful of bros in this thread alone has been bitten by scams,even more got bitten in other websites,and thats not counting those who kept quiet after being bitten. In Sillypore at SBF or even health center,i usually pay after bonking,so i assume thats the norm for most Sillyporean to do so. One thing i failed to understand why the need for payment before action starts in Batam when the we-chat girls obviously knows 99% of the men they sell their service to CAN afford to pay at the end of the deal.

When someone or some girls in Batam were already in my hotel room and tells me i need to pay before action,its very OBVIOUS it is going to be a scam. I will ask them to go away immediately w/o payment...and i will call the hotel security guard if they refuse to leave before further conflict escalate.

There is no need for me to even think twice about a 2nd offer in case the girl suddenly changes her mind later to take 'payment after action' becos by prompting me a payment 1st before action during the start,i predict the overall service level of the action may unlikely be good. The rest would be common sense. I havent add the worse case scenario yet.

Once payment is made,whether action starts or not,its considered job-done for them. Count it lucky for it is only 400k rupiah w/o missing personal valuables.

It wasn't exactly a compilation of info,but more towards trying to get the point that Batam center ferry terminal is very much busier than the one in Harbour Bay.

One my main message was we were all suppose to reach any Batam ferry terminal as early as between 45mins to an hour early (by rules) to go thru the custom, to await ferry boarding and so on; and while all these while we were given some extra privileges to be able to reach and later check in within less than 10 to 15mins,we tends to forget the privileges we received all these wasnt suppose to be an entitlement.

Its a lesson i learned.

Finally Malaysian/Indonesian from Johor Bahru Stulang Laut ferry terminal can have a direct ferry service from JB direct to Harbourbay Ferry Terminal. The direct ferry service was started off end of last year.

So now Johorian or even Singaporean/indonesian can travel directly from JB to Harbourbay Nagoya unlike last time have to reach batam centre first and then transfer taxi to Nagoya. Thus save on precious time and money and effort.

The ferry ticket price from JB Stulang Laut ferry terminal to Harbourbay and Batam Centre are the same because the distance apart from JB ferry terminal to both ferry terminals are almost equal if you look at the map.

There are now currently 2 ferry companies operating from harbourbay to JB stulang laut.

The two ferry ticket offices are located side by side near horizon ferry ticket office. Their schedules of departure from harbourbay to JB are different.

The first one is PT Putramaju (picture below showing schedule) (the staff said they use better ferry than the other company)

The second one is marine hawk ferry. (last time was known as mv mutiara)

This is very interesting. Which means to say I can actually travel to Batam 1st, stay for few days before heading to JB again,hehehe...that would be very much faster and more efficient than using the causeway ,tho it may be more expensive.

My next question if anyone knows, how long would the ferry ride takes from Batam to JB?

About 1 hour 30 minutes from Batam Center to JB stulang laut.
For departure from Harbourbay, I am not sure as not taken to there before.

No mistake there, I put gfe twice cos I feel for someone so young, she did well there. My friend got a girl that should score more in the gfe department.

We went to a seafood restaurant near DC Mall. It's hotly discussed before so I won't name the shop. But, for 4 dishes (streamed fish, fried chicken, broccoli and hotplate tofu), 500k is a bit in the expensive side.

We stayed at Biz Hotel. Main reason is Formosa is full and only had twin single beds available which I don't like. The other reason why this hotel is due to the many joints (total of 6 joints) in the vicinity, all within 5 minutes walk. And, if we didn't manage to get any girls after these 6 joints, (we didn't even visit all 6 before we got our belles for the night), there is still Happy8 and New Berry which is reasonably nearby.

That shall be all. Going for my ferry now.
