Interesting to see how we perform against Palace tonight, especially after City's masterclass display against Huddersfield(without de Bruyne), not forgetting consecutive wins by Spurs and Chelsea. Anyways we need those 3 precious points, nothing else matters.

It seems the loser had to wear a red devils shirt(Carra) or reds shirt(Neville). Neville apparently does not want to wear a reds shirt, so Shaqiri sent him a signed #23 reds shirt to bait him, priceless

Liverpool reject, Sakho was instrumental in shackling Liverpool attacks. Good goalkeeping by CRY goalie, otherwise Liverpool could have added 2 more goals

Tough match and we had to grind out a result. This is the type of game that shows whether a team has character and resilience. Very happy to say we came up trumps!

VVD and Gomez were immense! Looks like our 'best defender in the world' may return warming the bench a bit if great performances like this continues from young Joe

Alisson was solid and exhibited very good distrbution!

Keita showed excellence at times but seemed to fade off in the 2nd half. Still needs time to settle in.

Salah got a pen; red carded a promising young defender; and assisted in the 2nd goal, so i would say job well done. Its going to be much harder for Salah to score this time round for obvious reasons but looks like he delivers in other aspects with Mane picking up the fruits.

Firmino still not match fit though, think its going to take time. Sub wise, would have preferred to see Sturridge and Shaqiri come on instead of Adam but guess Klopp wants to give Lallana some playing time?

All in a very good result as we probably would have drawn or lost this match 2 seasons ago.

Alisson is worthy of his contract. The CP free kick in 2nd half could easily a goal but Alisson saves by punching away. His distributions also good.

pity Salah did not score but his finishing touches needs polishing. both Mane and Salah giving CP back line problems. if not for Hennessy would have been few more goals.

Selhurst Park Crystal Palace was often where Liverpool dropped points so this trip 3 points was excellent.

I really like Alisson. In addition to his distribution skills, his positioning is excellent...
So his saves looks simple but he is actually very good at covering his angles..and making it difficult for attackers.

He makes saves look easy but noticed how he send the ball away quickly for counter attack.
