Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Nope..... the club record was in 1990/1991 season when they went 10 consecutive wins from season opening. Hope they can break that record this season with the match against Man City.

Shaq was taken off too early in the game, thought around 65-70min would be better. Pool also need to build on their goal difference besides getting the 3 points. As we know, Mcity is scoring like nobody's business. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Klopp has explained. Shaqiri played well and he is not injured. It is just that Klopp wants to defend the lead.
http://global.espn.com/video/clip?id=24762030 I have attached the video. Hear directly from Klopp. Chelsea dropped 2 points! Yes... !

As for crunch matches, think Klopp is right to take each game as it comes. You are only as good as your last match. Chelsea league match is just as important as the City one. Anyways glad to note that Chelsea just dropped 2 points at West Ham, which means we remain top of the table this week, outright That said oh how i wish this was May2019!! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We are now 2 points ahead of Man City and Chelsea.
I do not care about the mid week game with Chelsea at Anfield. 150% is required when we visit Stamford Bridge next weekend.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Team Klopp should put out for the League Cup match considering the big big 8 days 3 huge matches come Saturday.
Mignolet Clyne Phillips Matip Moreno Fabinho Shaqiri Keita Sturridge Solanke Origi Or Mignolet Clyne - Matip - Gomez - Moreno Jones - Fabinho - Keita Shaqiri - Sturridge - Origi Hope Gomez can get a rest, so if Phillips is not up for it then maybe Lovren but looks unlikely? |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Oh Wow!
Funzio's prediction is still spot on. 6 wins out of 6. 4 more to go...then hit the magical 30... Good game- Shaqiri did a MOTM performance but we now know he works well when The Pool needs to be on the front foot.. He is great attacking ...

But think players like Matip, Fabinho, Keita, Shaqiri and Sturridge need to get more competitive game time as well. Oh yeah, been following Napoli over the weekend, and they look to be in form in SerieA. Think its going to be a tough night in Naples as well! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Shaqiri is definitely an asset to the team and what a buy he is turning out to be.
Klopp is probably trying out different options for the next game against Chelsea. I expect Sturridge, Shaqiri, Keita, Fabino and other bench warmers to start the game against Chelsea in mid week. Chelsea will probably do likewise. Is Lovren out until October? I'm waiting to see our World best defender back in action. hahahahaha |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Just saw Klopp's pre-match press conference.
Simon definitely playing! Origi still out and Lallana not totally fit. But looks like our world's best defender may play some part in the game tomorrow as he has been in full training for a while now! Solanke is also available. Klopp being coy because Chelsea aint revealing their starting XI so soon either but from what he said, should be an interesting mix! |
