Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
And so the summer transfer window has finally closed
Villa have busy in this window; City again adding serious quality; United strengthened defence but have not sorted out their midfield & attack; Arsenal seem to have done surprisingly well considering the claim that there was only £50m available at the start of this window; Everton have also been busy and look interesting; Chelsea, guess it could have been worse; Spurs have been busy and should be stronger than last season. As for us, think we should be fine, obviously can’t afford anything to happen to our front three but certainly will challenge City again. Unfortunately I think they'll probably still win it, but I can't underestimate Klopp and our group of players pushing them once again. If we suffer an important injury, then yes it might be too much to ask to push them all the way but as it stands, I just can't rule it out. It also depends on whether other clubs try and at least make a game of it this time round when playing City, especially at their own homes. Heart says we finally win #19 but head unfortunately says don't think so. It shall still be City & us but think the fight for Top 4 places shall be closer and may include an outside Big 6 club or two, you never know. Actually my head says we probably stand a better chance of returning to Istanbul & winning #7 Anyways let us enjoy the ride again come what may |

I have to agree with no major signing this transfer window. The way we played last night is amazing. The understanding between players is already there. No point adding in a new player to disrupt the flow. Plus our bench also very strong. We should be ok for the new season.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
every point every goal is important for Pool. the more we score the better we are in a comfortable position.
if we had drawn level with MC on points last season, we still loose out on goal difference. that's how competitive against MC is. |

Kelleher broke his hand and not fully recovered. The other 2 academy goalies..... 1 is under 16 so cannot play in the BPL and the other oso injured his elbow during pre-season. Maybe we will see Milner playing as "emergency" goalie if Adrian is injured. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
3 points is all that matters.
