The strange thing is online rates at 2.45xx but exchange rate is abv that. Seems like $$ changer are getting rid of their RM

change on Thursday, market is at 2.45, thought will get less than that, but when go to change got 2.47. Strange, anyone can explain to me a sotong in FOREX?

I remember back in the 90s it was S$1 to M$2. Then into 2000 it rises to M$2.25 it never gone down. Today it stands M$2.4 plus but only available in Singapore.
Probably there are much Singapore currency transacts over here, so the favorable rates are buying Malaysian dollars to Singapore dollars. For Malaysian working in Singapore, it is indeed a dream to exchange ringgits and spend it over their home towns. And we are watching GE on 5 May, again the rates may increase further in May. Wait and see my friends, in the 90s JB money exchange provide better rates then Singapore not so after 2000.
