Jin Sha Li is inside a court yard.. very hard to see from the street entrance. It is part of a hotel complex.

bro PF are right. this ktv is just inside the yard of huatai hotel(华泰饭店). it's a bit hard to find the street entrance. go south about 150 metres from Jinsong Bridge. it's on the west side of the east 3nd ring road. you can see the street entrance and go west along the street. finally you can see huatai hotel. but i think it's a more efficient way to take a taxi. the taxi driver will take you to huatai hotel easily.

I dunno mah! Because this is like residential apartments. First time in Beijing so I don't really know the system at all.

And I think the hotel won't be too hard to find, my navigation skills are pretty good. Already feel quite at home in Beijing really even though I haven't explored too much. I think you are referring to 昆泰 hotel.. The KTV is called Purple something. Posh set up and was open 3 years ago.. went there when it open and the gals were above average with tips of Rmb 500.. but I have not been there recently.
