They need to know which room and which person together otherwise it's a fail safe entry. It's for 100% sure there is no safe distance anymore once in the room together, you agree?
MOH can compare the safe entries with the room no. If safe entry is not allocated to a room than fail. Many cases like this, hotel closed.
These are the rules currently with very little room for negotiation at the front desk.
correct. but can be the dh is a guest on her own. no one at the door checks who is with who. and she doesnt go to the front desk to check in. again depend on the hotel. u go h81 or whatever unavoidable. say u go mbs. just walk straight to the lift. there are other hotels where door and front desk are not near each other.
The current situation dictates all hotel establishments to follow the covid prevention SOP by the authorities. So unless they are willing to risk their operating licence being suspended or fined, they LL have to follow the regulations. That's the reality now if we wanna use hotels.
One might be lucky if the front desk is undermanned or busy so that movement may be overlooked..That's called lucky if you're able to sneak your partner in.
Since all got "same SOP", the next consideration is $$$ nia...So how much you are willing to invest in that lady and whats the ROI...
This period of time, just follow the SOP and regulations, not worth creating an outbreak over 2-3 shots and unknown clusters. If scared get caught or DH cannot provide ID, stay home and pcc. These are extraordinary times that requires everyone to play their part.
