Just chipping in.

Got to know a WL in HCM recently.

After a few YM chats, she suggested the following:
1) Suggested marriage cos she wants to work in Sillypore

2) She will pay me $1000 every month and she intends to do this for 3 years.
She claims that she got an average of $9k a month the last time she was here.

3) She says she want a baby with me as she loves me. However, she wants to bring the baby with her to Vietnam after we divorce in 3 years. I will not be liable for the upbringing of the child. She wants to keep the child as she intends to raise the child up to support her in her old age as she does not trust man and intends not to re-marry after the divorce. She also says she does not need me to support her when I told her that I don't have any of the 5Cs.

As I found the proposal really interesting, I suggest we meet again in HCM to discuss about this. She readily agree but said that no lam tinh when we meet as she does not want to run the risk of a baby. I said sure.

Like Senior Bros here mentioned, if you can believe a WL, pigs can climb trees.

dun be rash and get yourself into this marriage mess...once you get married with her under this term "marriage of convenience"...she still can be in sinkie after divorce because she gets her PR before divorce and/or child is a citizen by birth...

any proof of "marriage under convenience" can be prosecuted and jailed...

even she can still gets at least half or more of what you have or own after divorce...then really trust WL and pigs can climb trees...

1)she cannot work cos definately 1st year she will not get PR after both of u marry

2)if she cannot work,how is she going to give u 1k every month?so like what she mention to u,she want to come here work as WL.so if she kana caught and send back,u have to go find lawyer to settle your divorce.is not cheap to divorce in sg and it dont reflect good on u

3)if u divorce her after 3 year or within 3 year,u have to pay her maintenance fees every month according to sg woman charter regardless of u have kids or not,bear this in mind

In short,dont even consider this proposal cos u will be in deep shit if anything happen and get caught.she should have been ban from sg before so she propose to u.to get 1k every month from her is simply not worth it

The next meeting with her is definitely not to discuss this. It's more for me to see how strong is her resolve not to lam tinh.

Or could it be that her desire for lam tinh is actually very powderful (due to her desire to snare me, or rather Sinkie PR? In that event, I could get raped by her even if I have no wish to lam tinh with her. )

I first encountered this kind of proposal in 2006, and still now, they are using the same ruse. Either this WL is damn inexperienced or this ruse has stood the test of time and claimed many victims.
