And they waive the requirement. And they only ask for it when i apply for her PR. I believe i am the 'solucky' one , hahaha.

Get the Hsebooklet translated to English too.
Sub-Courts translator charge $18 for the 1st page and $12 for every subsquence pages. I pay $66 for total 5 pages.

Play safe just get the return ticket too. Afterall, not really great difference in price when u get one or two tickets. At time, if she manage to get LTSVP, u may appeal for refund too.

guess they do not need translation during the submission to ICA for entry visa..

but for PR application ,etc..they may need to do a translation....

if his wife is arriving during this period of time......not a bad idea to get those ticket open for 6 mths and above..cos may need to go back for CNY, etc...

thanks brother Leon Lai, will take note, no choice but to get her to fax over. as for airticket, i am quite cheapo, thought of cutting cost so thinking of budget carrier, possibly jetstarasia from HK( i got that for her in March). I guess i should not be so stingy, will get a 6 months ticket. really appreciate the advice and encouragement offered by brothers out there especially bothers Mahalosux, Rof|maoxz and Leon Lai. it's heartening to know that help is available readily on this forum, thanks a million. 狮城有温暖，ha ha.

Now I am also worried she may not get her green card renewed due to some reasons.

Would anyone know how often this happen in ICA?
