A few examples, in JKT when it rains, kids carry umbrella to shelter someone to another location while they get themselves wet, just to earn tips. Kids carry shoe kiwi, go around earning tips by polishing strangers shoes. They started earning money when they are still in childhood while SG kids, playing with Ipad, Iphone......

So are young Singaporean sad or they living in sadness because of their own fortunate??

As for debt and payment.. In modern capitalism, it is about money and how u manage it. Over spent, not within your capability then u will be in debt.

Just for a "joke", in extreme, Naemlo's quote of the day, "capitalism is where the rich screws the economic, while the govt screws its citizen to bail the rich out."

Sorry for the double postings. But thats what happens when people downvote me so that I have to wait 20 minutes for the comments to pop up.

When that is said, a professor such as you should be aware of information like this, which states that laziness is indeed a genetic trait. So in that regard, I don't think you should be that judgemental!

Either way. I'm not normally that lazy, but when I should have gone to bed 3 hours ago, and are still up reading a sex forum late at night, reading 50 pages seemed a bit much at the time. Right now I don't mind at all if anyone here gives me a clue or not. I am getting quite used to it. However, don't act as if this is normal in a capitalistic society. I've lived in 6 different countries. I am still fairly young (29), but I know that not every place they have the same norms in regards to forums and summarizing stuff. Something is purely Singaporean too.
