Yes, if ovulated, morning after pill is useless. Always check when is her last menses, if she really close to ovulation period (usually around day 14 from start of menses), play safe and condom on, because you will never know exactly when she ovulate. Sperm stays alive inside for up to 7 days, so even few days before ovulation , cip without pills also very risky.
