You are alert. Yes, baby oil (oil based) will make the condom unsafe. Normally WL will wiped off with tissue, after "massage" if applied before putting on condom. WLs can also use non oil based lubricant - not KY which dries up fast and sticky. Should tell WL not to do so when in doubt. My main message was that you can trust Julia. She is very experienced.
