Best way is don't give phone number. Normally I got a spare account. Once u make appt, later use Ur spare to chat with them and make appt with same timing. They accept mean gg can close shop hahaha

Almost got conned today. Then I remembered this thread. Asked for iTunes $150 card and threatened me. Luckily I gave them a random 8 digits as phone number. I talked to the china beng, who claimed to be in secret society, through TG call.

Now I stuck with an iTunes card. Let me detail the scam steps:
1) contacted TikTok account holder via telegram.
2) arranged to meet at Chinatown.
3) reach already ask for my phone number. I rejected saying I use Malaysian phone, and my Singapore number no credits. So she gave me another TG account to add to talk to the guy.
4) talked to the guy who got me to head across the road to buy $150 iTunes card
5) told me to take photo of the scratch card send over
6) I refused to send over
7) all the threats came, sending photos of ppl taken as hostage
8) blocked him.

All the while i spoke to the china beng nicely, i know hard to make a living also, since we wasted each other time, don’t want to piss each other off also

Now I at coffeeshop nearby eating fried rice holding a $150 iTunes card. Going to use it to pay for Netflix and Spotify.

Yes . as long as they only post things that are normal and there are no elements of fraud. after switching to personal contact there is no longer any connection with tiktok
