Went on a trip to Tan-zhou with a group of Taiwanese friends.

Tan-zhou is located 30 minutes from Zhuhai ( 珠海 ) and 20 minutes from Zhongshan ( 中山 ). This is a very small town, surrounded by Taiwanese owned factories.

Two 3-star hotels in the town : Hao-ri ( 豪日 ) and Hui-chang ( 汇昌 )
Hao-ri is the newest, opened for about 12 months. Charges RMB220 per night; including breakfast and broadand. Hui-chang charges RMB168 per night. These are all weekday prices; not sure about week end prices.

We went to two KTVs : Wan-hao ( 万豪 ) and Hui-chang ( 汇昌 ).
For a medium that can sit 5 guys and 10 girls, the charges are RMB650 for the room and a bottle of Black Lable. RMB100 each for the mummy and the DJ. RMB650 is the minimum spending you need to make ( 最低消费 ). So, total spending for a night caps at RMB850 for 5 guys. As for the girls, they work on a 1-4-6 system. RMB100 for sitting with you, RMB400 if you bring her back for one-shot and RMB600 for the whole night. If you go for the RMB400 or RMB600 package, the RMB100 is already inclusive. For over-night, the girl will leave at 12pm the next day.

There are 5 KTV in Tanzhou; but we only went to two.

Food is also very inexpensive. A dinner for 10 at the Chinese restaurant in the hotel cost less than RMB350. We usually call the mummy to bring the girls to accompany us for dinner; before going to the KTV.

The KTV girls here are usually fresher than in the bigger cities. On average the girls that accompanied us started only 1 to 2 months ago.

Don't forget to make a shopping trip to Zhuhai; it's only 30 minuts away. A one-way taxi ride cost RMB50.

I also went for a day of fishing there; plenty of fishing ponds. RMB25 per hour; rod and bate provided.

Foot massage cost RMB35 per hour at the hotel.

This is a very inexpensive place compared to Chang-ping, Chang-an and Hu-men.

Quality of girls quite good; similar to Chang-ping and Chang-an.

Most of the girls we had were young, 18 - 20 years old; from Hunan ( 湖南 ), Hubei ( 湖北 ), Sichuan ( 四川 ), Guizhou ( 贵州 ), Guangxi ( 广西 ) and Henan ( 河南 ).

We also saw some Inner-Mongolia girls; but didn't take them.

Did not see girls from North-East.

The best way to go to Tan-zhou from Singapore is via Macau.

Just cross over to Zhu-hai from Gong-bei ( 拱北关 ) border and take a taxi. The ride will take 30 minutes and cost RMB50.

I made the mistake of flying into Shenzhen. The car ride took 1.5 hours and cost RMB650.
