Just saw your post and information is a little sketchy. Would you mind to share more in detail on the kind of male company you are looking for besides the age? Maybe share a bit about yourself as well?

Also, you might want it consider getting certified in padi locally first before doing an open dive in the sea overseas. If you are starting from scratch, starting to with pool dives under supervision will help you acclimatize to the sport and it's also safer

Hey! Is it cos I am a newbie, hence only limited PM Inbox??

Male company... Due to I am traveling alone, I am just worried about moving around the islands etc... It would be nice to have a male company. Should not be going for paid, male escort. I hope!!

I have replied earlier to another post asking about me... Please refer. But think it takes time, as my posts are being moderated currently.

Thanks for the genuine concerns about the diving experience. I am not sure how it works, but I assumed the license can be obtained with part Sg, part overseas island hopping??

Congrats on getting out of moderation. Think you should be doing fine now.

For open dive, you would need your theory and pool basics before you can clear for open day dive. Some people opt to combine their night dive certification so you can look to prolong the trip if that is the plan.

March is probably still nit the season to dive yet as the monsoon is still clearing, probably end march early April. Places to consider: redang，sipadan....

Having said that, will be keen to apply. Where to pick up the application and what to fill inside?
