Could any bros please recommend any hotels at Bkt Bintang or other areas in downtown KL that offer clean, reasoanbly priced short-time rooms? Will post a FR after checking it out.

Most hotels in Bukit Bintang and downtown KL cater mainly for tourist. I dun think there are any short-time hotels there. The only possibility would be Imperial Hotel near Jalan Alor. However I am not sure so maybe someone else can help out on this.

I just found out yesterday that Katari, opposite Puduraya, is RM38 for 2 hours. I once visited a fren there and found the room ok.

I also used to see signages in front of the row of budget hotels opposite BB Plaza at Bkt Bintang but don't know their condition.

Those hotels in front of BB Plaza, not really in the best condition. Some rooms are even without windows!! However, not sure whether they provide rooms for 2 or 3 hours. Nova Hotel along Jalan Alor is not bad. Rooms are spacious and clean.

You can try these few hotels (but maybe NO day use rooms):

Nova Hotel. Tel : 03 - 2143 1818

Allson Genesis Hotel. Tel : 03 - 2141 2000

Fortuna Hotel Tel : 03 - 2141 9111

Radius International Tel : 03 - 2715 3888

Capitol Hotel Tel : 03 - 2143 7000

Good luck. Hope this helps but again, they may not offer short term use. You can check out.
