There are plenty of pussies around so why not look around? As the night draws to a close, girls will get desperate and will be more willing to settle for less. If we act like the Japs and just pay without batting an eyelid then prices will only go up. If this goes on then in less than 2 years we might be looking at BHT5000 for LT as a reality.

Bars and gogos only set the BF prices the rest is set by the girl... spoken like only an experience punter will know. Puyings if they don't like a customer that wants to BF them or they have already "hit" their monthly drinks quota will quote a "take it or leave it" price.

Sorry , I read it as 4k for Pattaya but 3k is still too high for me. Some girls are even asking for higher ; showgirls , waitresses etc but to me ; a pussy's still a pussy.

As you go for more trips , make it a point to avoid going Walking Street every nite. Plently of hidden and unpolished gems on Soi 2/7/8 , Soi Diana/LK Metro area. The better looking girls can also be seen without their warpaint around Soi Baukao/3rd Road area during the day.

Just a few years ago , Pattaya had the better bars and cheaper cost of living as well as cheaper girls. Now , as more and more people find out about the place , I expect prices to be higher than Bangkok soon!

Some things are still cheaper - hotels , food , drinks. Girls are only slightly cheaper nowadays (apple to apple!)

Agree with you... still pretty new to Patts, been only twice. Planning for another trip somewhere feb/mar. Bro ML did mention about the other sois, and I am also planning to try the beer bars at Soi 7 as well. That would be a new experience

I stayed near Soi Bauklao and agree some of the babes without the war paint still look pretty good. That's why I like sitting at the balcony watching the people walking by

Well, it's still cheaper. One reason being that the bulk of customers are people staying there for 1 or 2 months who know how much to pay. I've never seen the same price/quality ratio elsewhere in Thailand (I insist on quality), and also so much choice. One month ago, I paid 500 ST for FL at beachroad, 1000 LT in Beer Bars and discos and 2000 LT in Gogos (except for Gogo girls I give a 200 tip if the girl is nice, but it's a tip not a negotiated price). Some gogos are more expensive (ie happy), but I have not been impressed by the pretended higher quality of girls. It's really not worth the price differences.

And it was for pretty girls (ok, less at Beach Road) in their 18/24 (about 80% under 22) years old range, slim with firm bodies and tits, no birthmark, no faggy or fake tits, cute face. They were quite happy with this price and ready to see me again the next day (that's the Cheap Charley test. If they don't want to see you again the next day, it's because you paid a cheap charley price they have accepted because they were hopeless to get a customer that night). I agree with the comment that's it's not the Gogo bars imposing price.

Same old rules to make sure you're not overpriced: (1) know the right price by RTFF this forum and others (anyway it's already in this post), (2) never show you are a newbie, (3) never ask "how much do you want ?" you're sure to be overpriced, (4) never discuss price with mamasan in Gogos, negotiate directly with the girl.

Of course it's now high season so there may be more tension on prices. You have to appreciate the market situation. If the girls are quickly barfined you have limited room for negotiating. The test is by doing a inspection round of your potential beer bars and gogos around 12 pm/1 am. If all pretty girls are already barfined it means that demand is too high. If you notice enough pretty girls still available, you are the king!
