30 Chinese nationals nabbed in Ipoh raid

IPOH : Thirty women from China were picked up during a police raid on a karaoke bar here.

Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Azisman Alias said the girls aged 18 to 31 were detained at an entertainment outlet here on Dec 31 at 12.15am.

They are believed to have violated their social visit passes, he said.

"We've received information that the place was full of foreigners working as GROs.

"Some of the girls were found hiding in several modified secret rooms," he said in a statement released Monday.

It was not the first time that police have raided the premises. In 2007 alone, 18 raids had been carried out on the same entertainment outlet previously, said ACP Azisman.

"Altogether 133 Chinese nationals and two Indonesians were picked up during those raids," he said.

"We will write to the city council to terminate the centre's licence and permit for failure to adhere to laws and regulations," he said.

As for the latest raid, police also detained a 26-year-old man to assist in investigations.

The case would be investigated under Section 39 of the Immigration Regulations 1963 and Section 55 (B) of the Immigration Act 1959/6

Just got back from Ipoh, and saw a lot of thai ladyboy along the street of ritz garden hotel in the wee hours. One of them even flash her, errr his post-ops privates at me.

Ipoh is very dead compared to the days of old (Big Sister, Taiwan etc) . My contacts on the ground informs me that some action can be found in private houses.

I found two places which are noteworthy:-

Heritage Hotel Health Centre

This place has a convenient side entrance which allows discreet entries (& exit) next to the open car park. There is a dimly litted bar which serves beer. There is an Ang Moh ( an old Malaya hand) who seems to be a permenent fixture there.

The choices of girls are limited and some of the rooms seem to be a make shift lounge. I tried a Penang girl called Joely. Has good attitude and was slightly on the plump side. Paid $120 for the extra service ( service was good by the way) and another $45 for the entrance which was expensive by Ipoh standards

The other place was Shanghai Hotel in town

You park in an open car park near a hawker center ( which gives you an excuse to say that you were having supper ) and walk to the hotel which is opposite some unisex saloons. The reception will insist on bringing the girl to you but you should say you want to go inside and have a look at the holding room . There seems to be a mixture of women ( Malays, Chinese and Indian) including some that have seen better days.
I took a girl (Jess) from KL.
I was taken to a room with mirrors everywhere including the ceiling.
Service was standard and damage was small ($70) but I paid $100 . Place is a bit run down and grimmy

Better to head off to KL or Penang if you want action. The heydays of Ipoh is over and all local products there are exported in any event (just like Chiangrai!!)

I beg to differ on this. In fact underneath this dead like atmosphere lies one can find a lot of things that is stirring up. Ur contact is right in saying that action can be found in private houses 'cause no one wants to spend their time b'hind bars. I hv book ladies frm PRC, Thai, Indons & our locals incldz Malays here. The services here r much better than JB though pricey according to Ipoh std. It can be ST or LT & believe me when I say the pimps here r a lot more friendly. Plus with Ipoh good food & kopi, can u ask for anything more.

Was back in town last week. So decide to drop in to my fren at Robin SPA. (9 WL was working with almost the old ones gone.) So ask my 'cikgu' to recommend one for me with Yoko on MC (go figger).
Had a nice chit chat to the room on top of the stairs. So proceed to strip with her just washing my didi & laying there for the action to get started.
