Should have some answers in previous pages back. Options are really limited. Either abort the baby and continue studying / relationship, or retain the baby, deliver the baby and return home. Normally the school or ICA won't be notified if she went to those private clinic for surgery.

Thanks for your prompt reply. What if the couple decide to keep the baby? Will the girl be banned from Singapore if ICA found out that she's pregnant while on student pass? I am asking on behalf of my friend, his intention is to get his girlfriend to quit study for now & return home to give birth. But they worry that if they attempt to get citizenship for the baby later, then ICA may find out that it happens during her studies here & she will be subsequently banned from Sgp. I am actually asking him to seek advice from lawyer but I think you may have the answer for me here

This matter is greatly in connection with immigration issues. So lawyers actually can't comment much on it unless immigration offences.

Strictly speaking, you should know that Students, PDMMs being pregnant are responsible for themselves, as an adult. To carry on the school term, or being a mother is entirely up to her. Since she's pregnant, surely the school will not be able to let her continue with her studies.

Another option is, I need to know when's her student pass expired? As I have said earlier, options are really limited. Either the male friend of yours be her local-sponsor to let her deliver in Singapore, but she will have to return back China with the baby without any marital status. Or cancel her student pass and get ROM in China, in order for the due baby to have the father's name in the birth cert. From there, he can try to re-apply for the wife's stay, and citizenship for the baby in due course. Of course this will have to be proceeded gradually. Hope this helps friend of yours.

From your above post, I do aware that you have tried and appealed, but ICA has rejected her application on numerous occasion. Mostly the offence are due to this: Sec. 57(1)(VI) Immigration Act, Cap 133 or Sec 36 of Cap 133. So chances are very remote.

I know my reply doesn't help much, even with you seeking MP's help will not do you good either. But I sincerely urge you to re-consider your marriage decision, and not on impulse, bro. From the way you post, I believe you are just yearningly wanted her company or miss her badly.

I have been going through page by page but there is no postive answer
regarding the ban they would not tell me even i wrote to them and ask them about it

I tried once by writting to them by myself showing them my incometax return , ownership of a flat approval of my parent working in a big company having a stable job they still would not approve .

That why im lost now

Also, I am confused about:
Long Term Social Visit Pass
-> Must we registered first before we can apply?
-> What is the duration (most likely)?

Dependent Pass
-> I have searched the ICA website, only for dependent pass for children. Someone mentioned a dependent pass of 6 months - Still valid?

Rest assured I will try my best to help you as rdgs to immigration issues. The emotional portion is to be handled by yourself.

There should be a verbal charge for her, and the estimation for the duration of the ban, could be 1-3 years. But.... even if the ban is lifted, doesn't mean that ICA will approve her social visa when you apply for her. For a start, try to find out more on the duration of the ban. Go personally to ICA, they may be able to help you on that.

If the ban is over and ICA still reject her social visa application. You may try to appeal again, or seek your neighouring MP for an appeal letter to ICA, in return for them to re-access the matter again.

Please be reminded that the child is illegally yours in the eyes of law, even if you are the biological father because both of you are not married yet. Unless you wish to get married elsewhere.

If you are thinking of an extension, the ICA officer handling your extension will be informing you on new procedures, if any. If your ger has the student pass which is going to expire soon.... it's up to the school or the agent acting for her as whether they is any enchancement on her course. Duration normally is 6 mths to 1 year.

An Employment Pass holder may apply for Dependant's Passes for his wife and unmarried children under 21 years of age.
