Deciding whether to go to Changping in Dec. What's the easiest and cost effective way to go from Macau to Changping for a non-mandarin speaker? Seems quite daunting from what I have read so far for a single person to do it by themselves.

Easiest for non-mandarin speaker would be to ferry across to Kowloon, cab it to the train station and take the train to DG. Depending on connections it might even be faster.
