bro we already played chelsea away, it was a 0-0 draw..only left Arsenal and Man U away...if can draw consider a good result....whatever happen to those days when away we still managed to beat Man U....ever since Liverpool talisman against Man U Danny Murphy got sold off...we have not managed to beat them in the BPL...

Semi-finals as follows:

Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
Schalke/Barcelona v Roma/Man Utd

Could have a chance of facing all 3 English opponents.

Arsenal in the Quarters.
Chelsea in the Semis.
Man Utd in the Finals.

Would be great if Liverpool wins number 6 this way

I beg to differ. It's a bit boring to me if that's the way. The lure of Champions League is to see us being pitted against teams that we don't meet in the EPL. I want to see us in Nou Camp, Turkey, Germany etc...

Already, we have to play Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U in the last 10 matches of the EPL. If we have to meet all 3 of them again in the Champions League, we will be playing the other Big 4 teams twice in the next 2 months. Personally, I don't get as excited playing Chelsea in cup competitions anymore. Too many, we know each other too well and the match often turns boring. Rafa's track record against the other Big 4 teams is also very poor. Have we ever beaten the other Big 4 teams in the league since Rafa took over? I really can't seem to recall.

Latest news, so I edit my post. We will play Arsenal 3 times in a week. 2 times in Champions League, 1 time in EPL. Too much right?

I agree with you in some aspects, but boring? I don't think so. Have you forgotten about the 2 thrilling CL semi-finals we had with Chelsea? Yes, I would rather have Schalke or Fenerbahce (better draws and something new, as there are recent games against Roma and Barca) too, but the draw has turned out that we could meet all the rest of the English clubs, so we have to just take it as it is.

Do you know that Man Utd is gonna play against Roma 4 times this season? 6 times in 2 seasons? Even more wierd eh? Considering both are from difference domestic leagues. Eventually, we will play every top side again and again and again.

Anyway, Liverpool has already meet Chelsea twice in the league already, and if we meet them again, shouldn't we be happy? Cause that would mean Liverpool is in the semi-finals?

Like you said, the track record against them is very poor, so isn't it time to put things right, by knocking all of them out and bringing back number 6? I know it's going to be hard, but if this is done, it would be a boost in confidence for our Premiership chances next season too.

We did beat the Gunners 2-1 & 4-1 in the league at Anfield before, remember Neil Mellor's wonder strike ?
And goes without saying,we are a much better & different team when it comes to one off or two legs knock out cup competitions.
We kicked the Scums out of the 2006 FA Cup before with 1-0 win. In CL semis, we made John Terry cry with Garcia's 'a goal is not a goal' in 2005 & Agger's left foot blast in 2007.
Have faith & belief

Totally agree bro haha, I like your attitude.

We are getting closer to Arsenal in the way we play - we have more pace now throughout the squad and we are playing better attacking football. Of course we have to be at our very best against them.

of course nothin is more pleasurable than liverpool beating man u, but unfortun its usually the other way rd. so best if roma or some other team can do that favour for liverpool.
