May I check what is the purpose of wearing 'Ha ru man'? Who's good in making the 'Ha Ru Man' amulet?

I like to give thanks to bros in this thread for pointing me to seek advice/consultation from Master Milin (a high-ranking and gifted Thai monk).

Took the opportunity on Vesak Day to visit the place and meet Master Milin in person. He invited me to come back the next day to consult him regarding my son's condition. Next day, went back to see him with wife and son. Within minutes, just based on date-of-birth, Master Milin could foretell about my son what 3 other people from non-Thai Buddhist tradition had said before. Good thing is that he offered a simple solution without any need for any elaborate rituals or expensive offerings. Master Milin can speak good English. BTW, consultation fee is up to you to give - any amount.

For bros who wish to seek Master Milin's help, the address and tel number is given below. Consultation hours is from 1pm- 6pm. Got to take queue number but the wait can be terribly long (sometimes after 1 hour only move 1 number in the queue). Note that Master Milin is in Singapore only a few months in a year. He is currently here and will leave on 25 June 2011.

Hi bros, i hope it's okay for me to ask this here. i totally have no knowledge on amulets. But recently, i have this sudden thought to get a Guan Yin's amulet. And on that night i dream of myself buying a amulet from some shops. Should i get 1 soon? and any recommendations on where can i get the amulet and get blessing for it ( Kai guang). I'm apologise for asking this question in a "thai amulet" thread.

If u get yr amulet from those big amulet shop here, they are mostly already kai guang.

Plenty of monks gd. But I m wearing hanuman from pu tim, wat lahanrai.

So far so gd. As for others, depends. Lp doo, lp daeng etc.

So far somdej has work well for me. Khum phen, salika takrut is gd for sales person too.

I believe there is no one kibd of amulet thats all. Is yr yuan fen with that amulet n ehether u do chanting or nt. if that amulet suit u, u should just wear it n dun change. U can feel the effect sometimes. That is when the amulet become part of u.

I have plenty of amulets range fron hundreds to thousands dollars. I only wear pu tim somdej yant har. Nothing else. Cause I find it toi good. Give me money also I wont sell away.

Get a gd khum phen. Or metta takrut. Or gd somdej. That will do the job.

After that focus on improving yrself. Extend network, self imprivement books, improve product knowledge etc...talk to ppl more.

Where are the big amulet shops? I only know of peoples' park and bugis.

There is one at china town. Near buddha relics temple. Also can find peter at fu lu shou.

other then that I m nt sure. Cause I gt mine direct from thailand..

From my yrs of amulet collections, for expensive amulets, cant even trust the monks. I seen many fakes one given out by monk. So beware. Trust only yrself if u know how to see. If nt, go to reputable shops. Better still if u can verify them personally.

may i know which thai temple in singapore still giving out thai amulet or buy from them? Please advise .. As i'm new in this forum and i'm looking for 1 thai amulet .. To play safe, better buy from temple or get from them. Hahaha ..

really noob and probably stupid question.. hope seniors don't mind.

i have heard that amulets 'find' their owners.. i am thinking of getting one, but if i 'rent' one, wouldn't it be 'forcing' against its will?

how would i know which one is suitable for me (and for the buddha in the amulet)... just 'tikam tikam' and base on look/feel? again the above question, how would the amulet feel..

next question, how would one know whether that an amulet got 'black magic' casted on it.. i was warned don't anyhow rent one.. read that some people donate to temple and the latter just recycle them?

i just wanted smooth smooth in life, ren yuan & protection.. not really expecting tua huat type (tho' it'll be a bonus )

Just got back from Bangkok, fulfilling trip to the land of smiles and temples.

Got some great amulets from Wat Rakhang (LP Nak Somdej 2484 and LP Hin Somdej 2484)
Also Wat Raikhing , LP Wat Raikhing amulet 2553 and of course LP Samrit and LP Watchara various amulets
direct from Wat Thamfad.

Anyone interested?
